APPLYING TO KÄSITYÖ- JA MUOTOILUKOULU NÄPSÄ

Children over the age of 5 (born in 2021 or earlier), as well as adults, can register for Näpsä. The main student intake takes place in April–May for courses starting in autumn and in November–December for courses starting in spring. Vacant student places are also filled during the school year. Therefore, you can register at any time. Children below school age study in 60-90 minute groups, 7–9-year-olds in 2-lesson groups, 10–17-year-olds in 3-lesson groups, and adults in 3–4 lesson groups. More information about adult groups Taito Pirkanmaa. Näpsä's teaching language is Finnish.

Only one application should be completed. If a student place is desired at more than one location or group, alternative groups should be listed on the registration form. Friend requests will also be taken into consideration if possible. It is also good to note on the application any information that would help the teacher support the student’s overall growth.

The student place application is binding. An automatic email will be sent in response to the saved application. If in April you receive an email saying that you are on the waiting list for a group, you will likely still get a student place. Näpsä's student situation changes in May for continuing students, and student places become available in groups. The teaching groups for the autumn term are formed in June. If you apply for available student places during the school year, we will contact you when a student place is arranged. Enrollment on the waiting list is also binding; please inform us if you no longer wish to be in the queue for your desired group.

You will receive the acceptance letter to the student place by email. The first tuition and material fee invoice will be sent separately by email from [email protected]; with the invoice reference number, you can convert the invoice to an e-invoice in online banking. Contact: [email protected]. The autumn term starts in week 34. The student place is for the entire basic arts education syllabus. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Click the green + (plus) button in the “SELECT” column. The selection will move to the shopping cart in the upper right corner. By clicking the shopping cart, you can continue the registration. On a mobile phone with a small screen, the end of the row may not be visible; scroll to the end of the row or turn the screen horizontally to see the group information.
